California's Great America Theme Park
California's Great America, Northern California's biggest and best choice for world-class family fun and thrills, is home to the most rides and most water rides in Northern California and is the only place in Northern California to meet and play with Snoopy and the rest of the PEANUTS Gang. San Jose Flea Market
The San Jose Flea Market is one of the largest flea markets in the world. Founded in 1960, the flea market has grown into a small city with a life of its own. With 60 acres of parking and 40 acres of buying, selling and swapping, the 100+ acre Flea Market has more than 1,000 different shops and draws between 50,000 to 80,000 visitors each weekend. Winchester Mystery House
In 1884, a wealthy widow named Sarah L. Winchester began a construction project of such magnitude that it was to occupy the lives of carpenters and craftsmen until her death thirty-eight years later. The 160-room Victorian mansion, designed and built by the Winchester Rifle heiress, is filled with so many unexplained oddities, that it has come to be known as the Winchester Mystery House. From rambling roofs and exquisite hand inlaid parquet floors to the gold and silver chandeliers and Tiffany art glass windows, you will be impressed by the staggering amount of creativity, energy, and expense poured into each and every detail. Located in San Jose, the capital of Silicon Valley, the Winchester Mystery House is just a short drive south of San Francisco, or north of the beautiful Monterey Peninsula.
